I seriously think that I am addicted to sites like Groupon and Zozi. Since the wife and kids left for summer camp I have been buying trial memberships to about half a dozen places like Bikram Yoga and City Wing Tsun<\/a>. Well yesterday I indulged myself in yet another of my secret desires, to become a world class DJ by taking an Introduction to Digital DJ’ing class at the Dubspot <\/a>with DJ Reborn and DJ Spictacular.<\/p>\n

I have always been intrigued with the whole process of DJ’ing. However my skills have gravitated more towards the opposite side of the hip hop spectrum as an MC<\/a>. That is not to say that I haven’t dabbled with DJing. It is just that it has been a very long time since I stood behind a pair of 1200’s. What amazed me about the whole turntable experience now is that it much more of a computer based\/digital environment now. The photo below is a picture of me after the class with Reborn and Spictacular.<\/p>\n
