Since the wife and kids left for summer camp I have been buying trial memberships to about half a dozen places like Bikram Yoga and <a title=\"Everybody have fun tonight\u2026. everybody Wing Chun tonight!\" href=\"http:\/\/jamesrichardson.net\/jtalk\/2011\/07\/01\/everybody-have-fun-tonight-everybody-wing-chun-tonight\/\">City Wing Tsun<\/a>. Well yesterday I indulged myself in yet another of my secret desires, to become a world class DJ by taking an Introduction to Digital DJ&#8217;ing class at<a href=\"http:\/\/dubspot.com\"> the Dubspot <\/a>with DJ Reborn and DJ Spictacular.<\/p>\n<p>I have always <!--more-->been intrigued with the whole process of DJ&#8217;ing. However<a title=\"I spits hot fire!!\" href=\"http:\/\/jamesrichardson.net\/jtalk\/2009\/02\/05\/i-spits-hot-fire\/\"> my skills have gravitated more towards the opposite side of the hip hop spectrum as an MC<\/a>. That is not to say that I haven&#8217;t dabbled with DJing. It is just that it has been a very long time since I stood behind a pair of 1200&#8217;s. What amazed me about the whole turntable experience now is that it much more of a computer based\/digital environment now.
