I surprised her at the meet. I told her I wouldn&#8217;t be able to make because I had a meeting. I had to reschedule some things in order to make it there, but I didn&#8217;t tell her that. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>What caught me off guard was that she dusted those other girls and took first place. I was so proud of her.  I think she was happy that I made it. I hope I didn&#8217;t embarrass her too much by all the screaming that I was doing. I don&#8217;t wanna be one of those crazy fathers that you see in the stands. But then again, I don&#8217;t wanna be one of those fathers that doesn&#8217;t pay attention to their kids either.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t believe she thought I was gonna miss her first race.
