The wife and I continued our Groupon and LivingSocial addiction. We decided to take a Thai\u00a0cooking course\u00a0at The Institute of Culinary Education (ICE)<\/a>\u00a0instead of doing another archery<\/a>, motorcycle riding<\/a>, or NRA pistol certification<\/a> class. In truth, I have recently become totally fixated on cooking related shows. Anything with Gordon Ramsey is an immediate season pass selection on the TiVos. So when I saw the Groupon offer a couples thai cooking class I thought that it would be another great opportunity to get out for the night with my girl.<\/p>\n

Chef Vicki Caparulo<\/a> was our instructor for the evening. She was absolutely amazing! She seemed to have that stern and scary “Gordon Ramsey” demeanor at first but turned out to be a total sweetheart. Chef Vicki started teaching this couples class many years ago with her husband Steve. Ski and I learned so much from just this one class. I am seriously thinking about taking a more in depth class over the summer so that I learn to cook a few more healthy meals for the family. And just in case the whole college professor thing doesn’t work out, I hear that there are always lots of job openings for trained speciality chefs.<\/p>\n
