About Me

I am pursuing a career in New Media Technology (Graphic Design). I attend LaGuardia Community College and my GPA is 3.4. I have also made the Dean's List for Fall 2008 and Spring 2009. I have always been interested in media and the technology used to convey its message to society through graphic arts. I know that the computer plays a huge role in media technology which is why I have taken and am still taking computer classes. I am well versed in programs such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. I have always been excited to learn the various ways that media technology changes and grows as the years go on. I am looking for a long fulfilling career in the field of Graphic Design. This is something I've always wanted to do and now I am on my way to fulling my dream.

            I have taken classes such as Composition, Introduction to Sociology, and a Professional Advancement class to build my reading, writing, and business skills. I have also taken many art courses such as Introduction to Design, Beginning Drawing, Form and Structure, and Computer Art. These courses have helped me to develop my creativity and my ability to think outside the “box”. These abilities will be useful on any number of projects given to me. I plan to use all these skills to get into a senior college to obtain my bachelors degree and one day bring success at the Graphic Design company to which I am employed.
