The planning for the 3rd Annual LaGuardia Community College New Media Technology conference is underway and Adobe has confirmed their attendance. The team from Adobe presented last year at our conference to a packed house and we are excited to have them back again. Adobe has agreed to present at both the morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session is going to focus on the creative and design applications in CS3 while the afternoon session is going to highlight the new CS3 video apps.
I can’t wait to see the demo of the CS3 video applications. I haven’t taken the plunge on the Adobe video suite yet, largely because I am quite fond of Apple’s Final Cut Studio suite of video products. However when Adobe announced that it was releasing the new video suite for the Apple OS, something they hadn’t done in many years, I was anxious to try it out on Winona.
With Adobe on board I am feeling better already about how the conference is shaping up. I just gotta follow up with Apple, Google, Microsoft, Cisco, Take2 Interactive, and Gamelab next week. I hoping that the trend will continue.
