I was all set to head out to Staten Island today for a seminar on disarming a gun wielding attacker. The seminar was being held at Life Defense Inc., one of the sister schools affiliated with the Krav Maga Federation Headquarters. I had been looking forward to the seminar for the past two weeks but I felt that something wasn’t right with me yesterday when I was working out. Even my son pointed out that it seemed like I was tired when he came with me to Krav Maga class yesterday morning. I felt the chills coming on but just figured that it was just a slight cold from all of the running around that I had been doing during the week. Unfortunately when I woke up this morning the chills seemed to be getting worse. And since I am determined not to get sick and miss work or more training, Especially since I have to give out midterms this week and will be testing for the next level in Krav Maga in two weeks. So I figured that it would be best to stay home and rest. They will always be other seminars. In fact there is one on November 8th at John Jay on combating knife attacks.
In the meantime here is another video that highlights some of the benefits of studying Krav Maga.
