I did something today that I have never done in my nearly 44 years on the planet. I bought some “skips”. And not just any “skips”. I bought “Costco skips”. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the term Skips, skips are cheap non brand sneakers. When I was a kid you would get laughed off the court for stepping out of the house wearing skips. I remember kids running home in tears after being teased for wearing FIKES or Fonverse sneakers. However I’m older now and such concerns don’t affect me any longer. Especially not at $14.99 a pair.
We are in a recession after all.
