Here is the video from my recent webinar on “Creating Engaging Content for the Web and Social Media”. This was the second in a multi-part series of online seminars to educate potential students at CUNY School of Professional Studies about the field of new media. I decided to conduct the webinar because attracting users to build a sustainable social media presence for themselves or their organizations requires the development of exciting media content. Whether the media is written, video based, or audio focused there is one constant factor. The content must be engaging enough to make users come back time and time again.
The ultimate purpose of this webinar was to help the viewers figure out how to approach creating content for their social media presence. However I forgot to mention that because of the snowstorm that shutdown most of the north eastern seaboard, I had to run the webinar out of my house. Luckily my home setup is better than the one at my office and, despite the snow, my webinar on “Creating Engaging Content” went off without a hitch.
